The artwork portrays a vibrant and lush water garden scene with numerous lily pads scattered across the surface of a pond. Five large, white water lilies in full bloom are prominent in the foreground, their petals delicately layered and tinged with hints of pale yellow. The lily pads are painted in varying shades of green, interspersed with patches of blue and hints of purple that suggest reflections and depth in the water. The background is filled with dense greenery and cascading reeds that lean over the pond, contributing to the tranquil and natural atmosphere of the composition.
